Hurricane and Tornado Safe Rooms

Protect your family with a PolySteel hurricane and tornado shelter.  These Safe Rooms are created by building any room (such as the master bedroom closet) with PolySteel walls, pouring a concrete lid on top and installing a steel door.  Not only does it keep your family safe, a closet Safe Room is a fire-resistant storage area for your valuables and heirlooms.

PolySteel wall forms go up quickly!   The 16" x 48" sections and pre-formed corners are set up as easy as children's building blocks.  Your concrete footing or pad is permanently anchored to the Safe Room walls.  Steel reinforcing is added as the walls go up.

Unique Panel Deck concrete roof!  Roof panels interlock to produce a concrete beam roof.  Steel reinforcing is added to tie the walls and roof together making a solid concrete structure.  A complete "envelope" of safety!

Over 3000 pounds of concrete is placed in minutes!  The forms are filled with conventional concrete and your Safe Room is ready for you to add your steel access door and final touches.  The concrete roof can be waterproofed or a conventional roof can be added to match building styles.

Your high-efficiency Safe Room can be used all year long!  Comparative R-30/50 walls and R-30/50 ceiling.  Use common plumbing, electrical and ventilation equipment to finish your Safe Room.
